American War Veterans Spurring New Political Party: The WHIGs

American War Veterans Spurring New Political Party: The WHIGs

Political commentator Chuck Morse examines in his new book, the WHIG Manifesto, how American Iraqi and Afghan war veterans are organizing a new political party that is neither liberal or conservative but is dedicated to fighting for a more unified country.

Fearing that modern politics is tearing at the fabric of the American system, the new political party is reviving a movement that traces its roots back to the American Revolution. The party has run local and state candidates with success in Nebraska, Virginia, Massachusetts.

Mr. Morse speaks to modern-day political issues through the eyes of WHIG activists. “WHIGs expect all responsibilities not specifically given to the federal government by the Constitution to reside with the States and the people,” he said.

“Yet the WHIGs of today also seek to re-establish an American nation-state that functions in the best political and economic interests of the American businessman, worker and citizen.”

Chuck Morse is a seasoned radio talk show host, featured on CyberstationUSA.com "Fairness Radio with Chuck Morse & Patrick O'Heffernan" daily and on nationwide affiliated talk stations; he authored The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism published by WND Books and he has contributed to the Boston Globe, the Washington Times, and other major newspapers.  Mr. Morse is available to be interviewed on the Whig political philosophy and why Americans have a legitimate third-party choice.
