Should the US Stay OUT of Syria?

"Absolutely” says  Chuck Morse, the author of  Islamo-Communism – The Communist connection to Islamic Terrorism ( http://amzn.com/B00CCVREKEand previously The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism: Adolf Hitler and Haj Amin Al-Husseini, published by WND Books (http://amzn.com/B004C441HI).

Chuck Morse explains:

The civil war in Syria is shaping up as a conflict between radical elements of the Sunni and Shi'te branches of Islam, a war that goes back to the Middle Ages founding of the faith. The United States and the western democracies have no interest in the conflict and they should stay out of it.

The same dynamic existed in 1941 when the two Socialist behemoths, Nazi Socialist Germany under Hitler and Soviet Socialist Russia under Stalin were battling it out after Hitler double-crossed his Soviet ally with a full-scale invasion of Russia known as Operation Barbarossa. At the time, Senator Harry Truman (D-MO) observed that the US should stay out and let "the two monsters eat each other up." The same sentiment was expressed by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger regarding the Iran/Iraq War in the 1980's.

Syria's Shi'te leader Bashar Assad along with his Shi'te sponsors in Iran have threatened to strike Israel and American targets if the US intervenes and this threat should be taken seriously. Israel has behaved expeditiously as it has struck only narrow military targets that pose as a threat to its national security.

Russia and China are supporting the Shi'tes in Iran and Syria which means that American involvement could lead to a World War. The same superpower Big Game dynamic led to World War's I and II.

It should furthermore be noted that there is no proof that Assad was responsible for gassing his people as the more likely scenario is that the rebels whom WE are supporting did.   How does our striking Syria help the Syrian people?  We would most likely cause the death of more Syrians.  We would be likely supporting radicals who are connected with al-Qaeda. We would cause the world to hate us more than they already do.

America should offer neutral diplomatic services as a peace broker between sides, and we should support our allies in Israel and secular Islamic countries like Egypt in every way short of militarily. We should stay out of the war.
