Operation American Spring First Amendment Area
Washington D.C. May 16, 2014
In the standoff between Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy and the Federal Bureau of Land Management, the Federal Government tried to limit free speech by creating a “First Amendment Area” for protesters and the media.

Chuck Morse, author of Operation American Spring, observes that the First Amendment is the law of the land in all areas of America and that speech cannot be lawfully regulated or restricted by the Federal Government to any particular piece of geography within the United States.

Reporting on the attempted Federal cattle grab, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval noted:

Most disturbing to me is the BLM's establishment of a 'First Amendment Area' that tramples upon Nevadans' fundamental rights under the U.S. Constitution. To that end, I have advised the BLM that such conduct is offensive to me and countless others and that the 'First Amendment Area' should be dismantled immediately.
Morse is asking that all Americans, conservatives and liberals, Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street, join the Operation American Spring March on Washington D.C. May 16, 2014.
While we may disagree philosophically and on various issues of public policy notes Morse, who hosts a nationally syndicated radio talk show, we generally agree that our rights as enunciated in the U.S. Constitution are under siege today by a hyper-nationalist Federal Government that seeks to inveigh itself into more areas of our lives than ever before. Indeed, one of the most chilling aspects of this is the growing numbers of "law enforcement divisions" as parts of federal agencies, including most recently the US Postal Service and local police departments receiving military grade material and Swat training.
We want to restore our natural rights to their proper source under the Constitution, which is with the individual under God. We elect a Federal Government to preserve protect and defend those unalienable rights not usurp them and gather them in their own hands. The U.S. Constitution was established to protect natural rights from a tyrannical government. It is our duty as sovereign citizens to protect our rights and by doing so to protect our Constitution and our elected Federal Government from any and all such usurpation.

Chuck Morse talks with Sam Blumenfeld about his new American Spring Manifesto and education. In the second hour, Chuck is joined by Harry G. Riley, Colonel, U. S. Army and the leader of the Operation American Spring event to be held in Washington D. C. on May 16, 2014.
