POPE FRANCIS WRONG ON INEQUALITY

Following the canonization of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II, Pope Francis defined his papacy when he tweeted: “Inequality is the root of social evil.”
With due respect Pope Francis could not be more wrong notes international executive Marius Forte, author of The Answer: Proof of God in Heaven.
Capitalism, notes Forte, is the greatest blessing the people of this earth have ever seen and experienced.
Pope Francis’s tweet is in accord with President Barack Obama who said that income inequality is “the defining challenge of our time.”

Forte sites incontrovertible evidence that indicates that countries with the largest and most affluent middle class are those with the most millionaires and billionaires while those with a smaller and poorer middle class have less millionaires.

Indeed countries that have no middle class at all and that, as such, have no freedom are mostly communist countries. Indeed, communist countries achieved equality of income by making everyone poor, everyone, that is, except the dictator and his entourage who live an opulent lifestyle that would make the most successful capitalist blush.

One might have asked the people of East Germany or the USSR, the United Soviet Socialist Republic, or the people of North Korea or Cuba today what life is like in a country with no middle class. Answers to such questions, if answered at all, are whispered, sotto voce, out of fear of the prying eyes and ears of government agents.

The “equality” pitch of Communism is an appeal to the envy, resentment and greed that resides in the darker recesses of human nature. Why should my neighbor live in a better house, drive a better car, go on a better vacation, have a prettier wife? I want what he has and I deserve it just because I want it and because it’s not fair that he has it.

I was raised in a socialist environment in Europe. I can attest that the more socialism the more poverty and destruction of opportunity and freedom.

The highest taxed countries in Europe, Greece, Spain, Portugal,  Italy, are all
falling off the cliff. The lowest taxed countries in Europe, Switzerland, Luxemburg, are by far the richest. WHY?

Italy is hot in the summer. Due to the insane socialist policies of taxing energy consumption at very high rates, only 7 % of the population can afford air conditioning. In Spain, another hot country the number is 11%. Millions suffer equally and spend sleepless nights as socialists impose their criminal disease of equality.

Gasoline is $8, $ 9 and in some cases $ 10 a gallon in those socialistic economies which contributes toward eliminating the middle class from owning cars or staying cool and worse staying warm in the winter. The rich socialist upper class has all the rights and privileges.

Socialism and Communism always create a two-class system. The masses have little to nothing in communist states where private ownership is outlawed and where the people work as slaves for a governing class of enlightened social planners and do-gooders. Attempts at escape from the workers’ paradise, an attempted dash across the iron curtain that bisected the Europe of my youth often resulted in murder.

Socialism is a virus and the outcome is always the same. Whether one travels to East Germany, Bulgaria, Cuba, or for that matter Detroit, the virus is the same.
We know how it ends. Yet Pope Francis, operating from one of the greatest and most influential moral offices in the world, perhaps unwittingly or perhaps consciously, is effectively contributing toward infecting the world with this destructive disease.

If you are poor what are your best chances to escape poverty? Government handouts? An Obama phone is not a career choice!
Would not a well paying job in private industry be preferable? Would not self-sufficiency and independence offer a better life?

A metaphor of the superiority of freedom over creeping socialism the exodus by businesses from the liberal insane policies of California to conservative pro- business Texas. This is not an opinion; this is fact, one that liberals refuse to
comprehend.
