One State Solution for Israel

The vicious slaughter of three innocent Israeli boys on their way to school is a crime that cries out for justice. These boys were murdered in an act of sheer evil. They were murdered for living as Jews in Israel.

What can be done?

The Israeli government must offer citizenship to all Arabs living in the region known as the West Bank. Citizenship, which should include one year of preparation and a loyalty oath to the State of Israel, should be offered after Israel first annexes the region known as the West Bank and declares its border as the Jordan River.

The new Arab citizens of Israel should have all of the rights and privileges of citizenship as do all other Israeli citizens. Arabs who refuse citizenship should be encouraged to voluntarily leave and such encouragement should include a package of compensation. Arabs accused of engaging in terrorist activities should be tried for their crimes. Those who engage in seditious activity should be expelled.

This would be the policy of any sane nation in likewise circumstances.

Fair-minded people should reject the nonsense about Israel “occupying” its own small country. This poisonous propaganda is part of a well-financed plot to delegitimize Israel. The State of Israel should continue its policy of extending the hand of peace and friendship to the over 20 sovereign Arab states of the world, many of which are rich in oil and natural resources.

The so-called two-state solution should be understood as a fraud. Soviet archives, declassified in 1990, indicate that in 1973 Yasser Arafat's PLO operatives were advised by North Vietnamese political trainers in Hanoi to promote the "two-state solution" as a negotiating tactic. This was a dialectical shift from the previous PLO approach, which was openly calling for the destruction of Israel.

Arafat admired North Vietnam’s ability to win over the American left and he sought to emulate that success. By 1973, it had become clear that crude PLO rhetoric, which included calls to slaughter the Jews, was not winning friends. Ho Chi Minh's advice worked like a charm while the PLO terrorism against Israel continued unabated.

Palestinian terrorist Abu Iyad, in his memoir published in Arabic entitled Palestinian without a Motherland, recounted how North Vietnamese political advisers suggested to him that the PLO: stop talking about annihilating Israel and instead turn your terror war into a struggle for human rights. Then you will have the American people eating out of your hand.

They suggested a two-stage solution. First, they take the West Bank, then the take the rest of the country. It is time for Israel to do what is right for Israel today and in the future and it is time for fair-mined people who support sovereignty and who actually care about the welfare of both the Jews and the Arabs of Israel to support the effort.
